About the Journal
The WIJI is biannual, open-access journal that covers basic and clinical aspects of immunology and related sciences to share the experience of the advancement of immunology in the West Indian region and internationally. The scope of this journal covers aspects of immune response, bacteriostatic antibiotics, immunoglobulins, inflammation, cell signalling and activation, major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I and II molecules, chemokines, antibodies, immunochemistry, cytokines, immunogenicity of biopharmaceuticals, cell receptors, immunogenomics, immunomodulatory proteins, microorganisms, immunofluorescent assays, immunoassays, superantigens, xenobiotics, immunosenescence, molecular immunology, immunopharmacology, and immunoproteomics. The clinical aspects that are in the journal’s scope are allergic diseases, immunodeficiencies, autoimmune disorders, tumour immunology, type-II, -III, and -IV hypersensitivity disorders, immunotherapy and natural products, vaccinations, COVID-19, veterinary immunology, and organ-specific immunological disorders.
